A synthetic ACTH fragment analog studied mainly in Russian neurologic literature for cognitive and cerebrovascular questions. Western, independently replicated randomized trials are scarce. Treat cognition and neuroprotection claims as regionally studied, not globally settled. This record is a research compound, not an FDA-approved product.

A synthetic ACTH(4-7) analog with a Pro-Gly-Pro tail. Proposed effects include BDNF-related signaling, melanocortin modulation, and effects on the brain-derived neurotrophic cascade. The originating literature describes intranasal administration. Those proposals are mechanisms under study, not a labelled use.

Gusev, Skvortsova, and Chukanova (2005; PMID 15792140) reported a regional series of 187 patients with cerebrovascular insufficiency. The paper claimed clinical improvement, slower disease progress, and fewer strokes and transient ischemic attacks. It is not a Western randomized controlled trial, and the methods are not independently replicated outside that literature. Limited remains the grade.

The Gusev 2005 paper described few side effects in that series. Long-term central-nervous-system safety in healthy users is not established. Quality of imported research products varies. This is not a labelled safety section.
